In the last 20 years, ‘business’ has shed its reputation as an exploiter of people and has become a crucial catalyst for social change, IoD with its mission of bringing a silent revolution through the boardroom has been a catalyst for that change .IOD’s Masterclass for Directors today is regarded as must for all directors and participants feel this is an eye opener to the turbulence age directors are facing.

What sets the IoD apart is its foremost belief that the problems facing humanity such as poverty, pollution and inequality have a better chance of resolution when addressed in a holisic and integrated manner. IOD’s Masterclass for Directors is one of the flagship programs exclusively developed by IOD in conjunction with the World Council for Corporate Governance, aims to improve the professional skills of independent directors and to help directors deal with the age of turbulence and improve effectiveness of board by developing a strategy for sustainability. The Masterclass programme qualifies successful participants to become independent directors of listed companies. The Masterclass training programs are also being attended by participants from all sectors of our business, both pvt and public including participants from overseas.

The last series of 3 Day intense Masterclass for Directors leading to Certified Corporate Directorship program was held in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore on 19-21 March 2010 and in Kolkata on 26-28 March 2010. The Masterclass was led by a corporate evangelist, the brain behind the program, Dr Madhav Mehra , who is the president of UK based World Council for Corporate Governance.
